ACTIVE YOUTH ZONES

Safe Spaces for Sport, Growth, and Opportunity

Active Youth Zones are community hubs created in partnership with local schools and youth organisations. They provide young people with safe, engaging spaces to take part in sport and physical activity during evenings and weekends—times when many lack structured opportunities.

These zones are more than just a place to play. They are environments where young people can stay active, build friendships, and find positive pathways for personal growth. By breaking down barriers to participation, we ensure that every child and young adult has the chance to move, connect, and thrive.

Many young people face significant barriers to being active: lack of facilities, financial pressures, and limited safe spaces outside school hours. This can lead to isolation, inactivity, and missed opportunities for development.

Through our coaching and community work, we saw a clear need for consistent, accessible spaces where young people could gather, play, and grow. Active Youth Zones were designed to fill this gap—combining physical activity with mentorship, leadership opportunities, and a strong sense of belonging.

We open doors for young people to enjoy sport in supportive environments, free from barriers.
